Earth Day 10K Race in Kitty Hawk Woods: April 4th!

The Carolina Estuarine Reserve Foundation and the Outer Banks Running Club will host the 4th Annual Kitty Hawk Woods Earth Day 10k in April 2009. It's a great local race through the trails of Kitty Hawk Woods.

The purpose of the event is to increase awareness and appreciation of Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Reserve, gain publicity for CERF, and bring the Outer Banks community together for a worthwhile cause.

All race proceeds go to CERF, the North Carolina Coastal Reserve’s non-profit group that strives to protect North Carolina’s coastal ecosystems through volunteer opportunities.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available

Bold Print Design Studio has sponsored the Kitty Hawk Woods Earth Day 10K since it's inception in 2006. We encourage you to do the same, as it's not only a great cause, but a great way to get your name out in the active OBX community - and for less investment than many traditional advertising methods.

Local businesses and individuals can look forward to the following benefits in return for their support:

Title Sponsor: $1,000 and above

• Sponsor’s name will be mentioned in news releases, radio promotions, flyers, and public service announcements.

• Sponsor’s website link and/or logo will be posted in club emails, club websites, and other appropriate venues.

• Title billing on the race t-shirt.

• Title billing on the official banner displayed at the run.

• Sponsor may put items (promos, coupons, merchandise, etc) in the race bags given to all participants.

Gold Sponsor: $500 and above

In-Kind Donations

In-Kind donations are welcome! Sponsors may choose to donate goods or services that would otherwise be an event expense. In-Kind Sponsor benefits are based on the value of the in-kind donation. Appropriate in-kind donations include but are not limited to t-shirts, printing, food or advertising.
